Two rounds of review. 4. **Compliance & logistics** — permits by jurisdiction, COI naming your venue, insurance certificates, venue coordination. 5. **Event day** — crew arrives early, builds station, runs safety checks, opens on schedule. Queue, throughput, and vibe managed throughout. ## Frequently asked questions ### How much does a tattoo popup cost? Most events fall between mid-four to low-five figures. Pricing depends on guest count, duration, flash scope, crew size, location, and permits. Custom proposals come within one business day. ### How far in advance should I book? Standard bookings: 4–8 weeks out. Larger activations or events requiring health department permits: 30–60 days. Destination events: 4–6 weeks minimum. ### Do you bring your own artists? Yes. Every artist is licensed in the event's jurisdiction, BBP-certified, event-trained, and rehearsed on reading a room. We never hire local freelancers the week of. ### Can guests choose their own design? Yes — they pick from the custom flash sheet we designed for your event. We don't do freehand or "whatever you want" walk-ups. Keeps the line moving and keeps quality consistent. ### Do you offer temporary tattoos? Yes — Jagua, henna, and sticker temporary options. Many events mix real and temp so non-tattoo-comfortable guests still get the experience. ### What's the minimum/maximum guest count? We run events from 50 to 5,000+ guests. Below 50, the crew model isn't economical — we'll refer you elsewhere. Above 1,000, we scale with multi-artist setups and digital queue. ### Are you insured? Yes — $2M general liability, additional insured available for your venue within 24 hours. We name your venue on the COI for free. ### Do you have a license to tattoo in our city? Yes. Every artist carries a current license for the event jurisdiction. We handle any local permits required for health-department oversight. ### What's the age policy? 18+ only, ID checked at sign-in. No exceptions. ### Can you do destination events internationally? Yes — international licensing, local permitting, artist sourcing, venue logistics. We handle the whole operation. 4–6 week lead time minimum. ### What's the footprint? Typically 10×10 ft per station. Two stations for most activations (60–100 guests/hour). Larger events scale up. ### How long does setup take? 60–90 minutes before doors. We arrive early, build the station, run safety checks, and open on schedule. ### Can guests request designs in advance? No — it slows the line and creates inconsistency. All guests pick from the custom flash sheet we designed for your event. This is how we keep quality consistent and the line moving. ### Do you do aftercare? Yes — written aftercare instructions provided to every guest, plus a follow-up email. We also handle any touch-up inquiries for 30 days post-event. ### What if a guest has a bad reaction? We carry first-aid supplies, training, and emergency protocols. Any reaction is handled on-site by our coordinator; serious issues trigger 911 and full incident reporting. ### Can we use the photos? Yes — guests sign a photo release at check-in. Brands and planners can use the photos for marketing with our standard co-promotion terms. ### Do you have references?
