Tattoo premium events.
We handle the rest.
Do you want to work at events for brands like Playboy, Red Bull, HarperCollins and more? We're always looking for licensed, event-ready artists who love a great room and a fast line. You bring the craft — we bring the clients, the permits, the assistants, and the logistics. Get paid well per event and keep your studio schedule yours.

Do what you love, without the chaos
Event tattooing is a different skill than shop tattooing, and great artists shouldn't have to also be event producers. We staff a full crew around you — assistants who prep and clean, hosts who manage the line and waivers, and a coordinator who owns the logistics. You show up, tattoo, and leave the setup and teardown to us.

A crew that has your back
We built Tattoo Popups to be the event partner we wished existed when we were freelancing.

Tattoo Popups is a network of event-trained artists who work the best events in the country. If you tattoo with care, you move fast, and you want to work events instead of being stuck in a shop — we want to hear from you.
Lead our events on-site. Read the room, set the tone, and tattoo with speed and care. We only send artists who've worked at least five events with us — this is the top of the call sheet.
Work side-by-side with the lead artist — setting up stations, breaking down, prepping gear, and keeping the line moving. A great fit for apprentices and artists building their event experience.
Work directly with our lead artists on-station, learning the event workflow from setup to aftercare. Apprentices must be licensed in their home state and ready to take direction. A great pipeline into the assistant and lead roles.
Run our piercing station at events — curated ear stacks, jewelry selection, and placement that fits the brand or the couple. Must hold a current piercing license in the event's state.
Greet guests, verify ID, run digital waivers, manage the queue, and answer questions before the chair. You set the tone for the whole experience.
Design custom flash for upcoming events. Brand-driven, tightly briefed, often working from a Pinterest board, a brand book, or a couple of napkin sketches from the client.
Own the run of show. Permits, insurance certs, vendor coordination, on-site logistics, and the calm voice on the radio when something needs to move. Production experience required.
